On October 24, a high-end furniture facility with an annual output of 200,000 cubic meters was established in Gangbei District. It is reported that the project is being invested in and constructed by the Pingnan Branch of Guigang Siyue Wood Industry Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 750 million yuan. The project will occupy approximately 300 mu of land and will be developed in two phases, primarily including the construction of production workshops, warehouses, dormitory buildings, product experience and exhibition centers, as well as the procurement of various types of machinery and equipment. Currently, the first phase of the project is in full swing, with key efforts focused on advancing the construction of four factory buildings and the dormitory complex. According to Gao Yue, the project leader, the steel-structure workshops No. 5 and No. 6 are being simultaneously built alongside equipment installation, achieving 60% completion and expected to be operational by mid-November. Meanwhile, the pile foundation work for workshops No. 9 and No. 10 is already 70% complete, with plans to finish the main structure by December.

Meanwhile, the main structural work of the dormitory building has been fully completed, and bricklaying as well as interior decoration are now in full swing. As of now, the first-phase project has reached 60% overall completion, with an anticipated full completion by the end of January 2026. Once the entire project is finished and operational, it will establish an annual production capacity of 200,000 cubic meters of high-end eco-friendly furniture boards, while also creating 600 new jobs—providing significant support for regional industrial upgrading and employment stability.

Gao Yue stated that, compared to the traditional production line, the new project has achieved a comprehensive upgrade. Previously, wood was manually loaded onto the line—now, automated conveyance is handled via conveyor belts. Additionally, waste materials generated during production are now efficiently transported by dedicated belts directly to the scrap material yard. This not only significantly reduces labor costs but also markedly boosts daily output value.

The accelerated advancement of the project would not have been possible without the precise services and unwavering support provided by Gangbei District.
