The first batch of 2025 provincial-level product quality supervision spot checks focused entirely on the production stage. Plywood 61 batches of products.

This spot check was conducted according to the requirements of standards including GB/T 9846-2015 "Common Plywood," GB/T 18101-2024 "Flame-Retardant Plywood," GB 18580-2017 "Indoor Decoration and Renovation Materials—Formaldehyde Emission Limits for Man-made Boards and Their Products," and GB/T 39600-2021 "Classification of Formaldehyde Emission Levels from Man-made Boards and Their Products," examining parameters such as moisture content, bonding strength, delamination resistance, elastic modulus, formaldehyde emission, and static bending strength of the plywood products.

This spot check revealed that six producers—Fei County Jinzi Red Wood Processing Factory, LanShan District Fenglei Board Factory in Linyi City, Pingyi County Ruijia Wood Products Factory, Pingyi County Ruisheng Wood Products Processing Factory, Pingyi County Zehongyu Wood Products Factory, and Pingyi County Yumao Wood Products Factory—produced six batches of products that did not meet the requirements of relevant standards. The nonconformities identified were formaldehyde emission levels and bonding strength.

The Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation has instructed the relevant market supervision departments to properly handle the results of this spot check, ensuring compliance with the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Provisional Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Spot Checks," as well as the relevant regulations issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation regarding supervision and spot checks.
