In recent days, Lurong Township has established a working group to conduct special safety‑production inspections of wood‑processing and trading establishments within its jurisdiction, ensuring that safety‑regulation responsibilities are firmly assigned to the production front line, standardizing business practices in the local wood‑processing sector, eliminating all kinds of safety hazards, and making every effort to fortify the safety defense.

The working group focused on the industry’s core risk areas, systematically inspecting the fire‑protection equipment at each processing plant, verifying that fire‑fighting tools are in good working order and effective, and meticulously examining the installation of fire‑prevention and no‑smoking signage as well as the implementation of measures to control ignition sources.
