On July 8, inside the production workshop of Hetian Muyuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd. in the industrial park of Duolu Town, Lop County, multiple production lines were running at full speed. Workers collaborated efficiently, with each step of the manufacturing process seamlessly coordinated and advancing with high productivity. As a locally‑based wood-processing enterprise, the company has strengthened its industrial foundation through equipment upgrades, supply-chain expansion, and capacity increases, creating local employment opportunities for residents and leveraging the upgrading of its signature industry to drive rural revitalization—thereby injecting momentum into the county’s high‑quality economic development.
According to reports, Hetian Muyuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd. moved into the Duolu Town Industrial Park in November 2023. It is a specialized local enterprise that integrates the research and development, processing, production, and sales of construction timber panels. Currently, the company operates three standardized factory buildings, establishing a mature and comprehensive production system and industrial chain. To enhance production efficiency and optimize its product mix, the company has recently added hollow… Particleboard Equipped with specialized production machinery such as extruders, the company has adopted a green manufacturing model that recycles and reuses wood waste, continuously expanding its product portfolio. Wang Zhennan, the project planning director at Hetian Muyuan Wood Industry Co., Ltd., stated: “Leveraging cutting-edge, high-tech processing technologies, we have achieved the circular utilization of wood resources, with our products reaching markets across Xinjiang. Currently, we employ 70 local workers. By 2025, we aim to generate 8 million yuan in revenue, and this year we are targeting over 20 million yuan. Moving forward, we will continue to expand production and enhance efficiency, scaling up operations to create more jobs for local residents and using industrial development to support rural revitalization.”
The upgrading and development of the industry has boosted employment and increased incomes for local residents. Alziguli Nurmemeti, a villager from Duolu Town, and her husband both work at the enterprise. With job opportunities right at their doorstep, the couple has achieved stable income growth, and their quality of life has steadily improved. “My husband and I both work at the factory, earning a steady income while still being able to take care of our family. This year, as the factory expands its production capacity, our earnings will rise too, and life is getting better and better,” said Alziguli Nurmemeti.
