Another new project is set to be launched at the Lanshan Wood Industry Industrial Park in Linyi. According to recent reports, Linyi plans to build a facility with an annual capacity of 12 million impregnated paper sheets and 60,000 cubic meters of veneer panels, along with an engineered‑board processing project.
The engineered wood panel processing project has a total investment of RMB 130 million, a construction period of 12 months, and occupies a site area of approximately 16,116 m², with a total floor area of about 23,590 m². The main construction includes… Engineered wood 、 Plywood , the production facilities for veneer panels, as well as auxiliary facilities and utility systems.
1# Production Workshop, 2nd Floor, with a floor area of approximately 14,810 m²; the first floor is equipped with six edge‑sawing machines, Sander 4 units, Polisher 4 units, 2 mold temperature controllers, Hot press machine 28 units, 2 edge‑banding machines; on the second floor, there are 6 glue‑mixing machines, 20 glue‑applying machines, 12 pre‑presses, 6 core‑joining machines, and 6 panel‑turning machines, all dedicated to the production of plywood, glued laminated timber, and veneer panels.
2# Production Workshop, 2nd floor, with a total floor area of approximately 8,780 m². The first floor is equipped with two band saws, one drying chamber, four multi-blade saws, ten comb‑tooth machines, ten glue‑applying machines, ten panel‑joining machines, and ten cold‑pressing machines, all dedicated to the production of engineered wood products.
The project is expected to be completed and commissioned in June 2027. Upon commissioning, it will achieve an annual production capacity of 20,000 cubic meters of engineered wood products, 30,000 cubic meters of plywood, and 50,000 cubic meters of veneer panels—of which 10,000 cubic meters of engineered wood and 10,000 cubic meters of plywood will be for internal use, while the remaining 10,000 cubic meters of engineered wood, 20,000 cubic meters of plywood, and 50,000 cubic meters of veneer panels will be sold externally. The workforce will comprise 80 employees, with a total annual operating time of 300 days, running on a three-shift system (8 hours per shift), totaling 7,200 hours per year.
The veneer panel project has a total investment of RMB 50 million, with a construction period of four months. It will involve leasing idle factory space to build production lines for impregnated paper and veneer panels, along with supporting facilities. The facility will house 12 veneer panel production lines—equipped with 12 hot presses and 6 mold temperature controllers—for manufacturing veneer panels; on the east side of the building, three impregnated paper production lines will be installed, comprising six adhesive‑mixing tanks and three integrated impregnation machines, dedicated to producing impregnated paper.
The project covers a total land area of approximately 9,000 m² and has a total floor area of about 9,000 m². The total investment amounts to RMB 50 million, including RMB 500,000 for environmental protection measures. The planned commissioning date is December 2026, at which point the facility will achieve an annual production capacity of 12 million impregnated paper sheets and 60,000 cubic meters of veneer panels. The project will employ 100 staff members, operating on a three-shift system with 8 hours per shift, and will run for 300 days per year (7,200 hours annually).
