Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation Conducts Research on Quality Supervision of Artificial Boards in Heze City

From April 28 to April 29, Liu Bo, Director of the Quality Supervision Division of the Shandong Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, led a delegation to Heze to conduct an inspection of quality supervision over man-made board and other interior decoration materials, and to deliver training on product quality supervision in Heze City, with a focus on enhancing the quality and efficiency of regulatory efforts. Wang Min, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Heze Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, and other officials accompanied the delegation.

On April 28, Liu Bo and his delegation visited the wood-processing cluster in Zhuangzhai Town, Cao County, conducting on-site inspections at several key manufacturing enterprises, including Shandong Heze Maosheng Wood Industry Co., Ltd., Heze Huasheng Wood Products Co., Ltd., and Shandong Meishijia Decorative Materials Co., Ltd. They also reviewed the operational status of the Zhuangzhai Wood Industry Association and the inspection and testing activities conducted by the Heze Municipal Product Inspection and Testing Research Institute, gaining a detailed understanding of these enterprises’ production and business operations, product quality control, industry self-regulation, as well as technical inspection, testing, and related technical services.

During the special symposium, representatives from the Zhuangzhai Town Government, the Caoxian Market Supervision Administration, relevant enterprises, industry associations, and inspection and testing institutions each presented reports on the development of the man-made board industry, local regulatory oversight, the implementation of principal responsibility, industry self-regulation, and inspection, testing, and technical services. They conducted an in-depth analysis of the challenges facing the industry and put forward recommendations and suggestions. The provincial research team commended Heze’s efforts in quality supervision of man-made boards, stressing the need to ensure that all parties assume their respective responsibilities, strengthen quality control, standardize industry order, safeguard the bottom line of quality and safety, and promote the high-quality development of the wood-processing industry.

On April 29, the Municipal Market Supervision Administration held a citywide training session on product quality supervision at Heze Vocational College. Liu Bo and other instructors delivered comprehensive lectures on the evolution of quality regulation, routine spot checks, supervisory inspections, and the effective enforcement of enterprises’ principal responsibilities. They also provided detailed guidance on the practical application of the “Shandong Provincial Market Supervision System,” further aligning understanding of quality regulatory duties, clarifying regulatory boundaries, standardizing inspection and spot-check procedures, and comprehensively enhancing the professional competence and performance of frontline regulatory personnel in Heze City. The training was attended by leading officials in charge at the municipal bureau, all staff members of the Quality Regulation Division, principal officials of bureaus in each county and district, leaders in charge of quality regulation, heads of relevant sections and units, key law-enforcement personnel, and business personnel from market supervision stations, totaling 300 participants.

This research and training initiative was seamlessly integrated, enabling a precise assessment of the current state of quality oversight in the man-made board industry while also providing valuable capacity-building for Heze City’s quality supervision team. Taking this event as an opportunity, the Heze Municipal Administration for Market Regulation will earnestly implement the work requirements set forth by the provincial bureau, further leverage the findings of the research, enhance the practical application of the training outcomes, continuously strengthen quality oversight of key products, steadfastly uphold the bottom line of quality and safety, and thereby support the healthy and orderly development of Heze City’s signature industries.
