Step into Hunan Jijia New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., which has an annual production capacity of 300,000 cubic meters of reed. “The underground portion of the thermal energy center’s equipment foundation has been fully completed, and the rolling mill foundation has also been finished. Next, we will devote all our efforts to advancing the construction of the main workshop,” explained Li Di, Project Manager for the contractor of this project at Hunan Jijia New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. According to the plan, foundation work for the main workshop building will be completed and steel structures will be delivered by mid-March; equipment will begin arriving in stages by mid-April, and the first sheet of reed particleboard is expected to be produced by the end of the year.

Relying on the abundant reed resources in the Dongting Lake region, this project employs internationally advanced continuous flat‑press technology and formaldehyde‑free adhesives. Once completed, it will not only solve the challenge of effectively utilizing reed resources in the Dongting Lake area but also fill the gap in the regional high‑end, eco‑friendly board industry. In the future, second and third production lines will be built to help Yuanjiang develop into a leading base for high‑end, eco‑friendly board manufacturing.
