In 2025, Qintang District’s artificial board production reached 15.07 million cubic meters, representing a year-on-year increase of 10.6%. This accounts for one-fifth of Guangxi’s total output. The products are sold nationwide, with some also exported to regions such as ASEAN, Central Asia, and Europe.

After more than 20 years of development, the wood-based panel and home furnishings industry in Qintang District has evolved into a comprehensive sector integrating timber trading and rotary cutting. The specialized industrial cluster for green home furnishings—comprising small and medium-sized enterprises—has passed national review. The Bixiu Smart Home 4.0 production line, the Maibai New Materials automated production line, and the intelligent warehousing system have been put into operation and selected as typical cases of “Artificial Intelligence + Manufacturing” in Guangxi Province, continuously bolstering the industry’s development momentum.

Next, Qintang District will vigorously develop downstream products and supporting services such as panel furniture, whole-house custom furniture, and functional furniture, thereby contributing to Guigang City’s efforts to become the “Southern Wood Capital.”
