Recently, Linyi City unveiled the "Work Plan for Guiding High-Quality Development of Iconic Industrial Chains through Technological Innovation," which outlines a clear innovation roadmap for 13 key industrial chains. By 2027, the city aims to raise the proportion of R&D investment in the entire society to over 2.5%, and increase the share of high-tech industries in total industrial output to 50%.

Focusing on high-end boards and green smart home products, Linyi will build an innovative ecosystem of coordinated development—centered on the core areas of the wood industry—that integrates “technological research and development—application demonstration—industrial upgrading.”

In the area of high-end panels, we will focus on R&D of new wood-based composite materials and tackle key technological challenges in developing new technologies for formaldehyde-free decorative artificial boards.

In the area of green smart homes, we are conducting research on the integration of combined intelligence and electronic intelligence technologies.

In the field of woodworking machinery, we will strengthen the collaborative technological development between intelligent sorting machines and other traditional woodworking machinery.

In the field of adhesives, we will focus on the research and development of new low-aldehyde and low-volatile organic compound adhesives, and achieve breakthroughs in efficient extraction and modification technologies for lignin and cellulose. In the medium to long term, we will concentrate on R&D and application related to engineered wood-based products, developing fully bio-based adhesives that are biodegradable and highly resilient.
