To further advance the “Four‑Standards Initiative” for key industrial products, comprehensively elevate the overall quality of the Taiping Town man-made board industry cluster, and continuously promote the upgrading and quality improvement of county‑level specialized industrial clusters, the Juye County Market Supervision Administration recently joined forces with the Taiping Town People’s Government to host a special training session on enhancing product quality in the man-made board industry cluster. A total of 67 participants, including heads of man-made board manufacturing enterprises and quality management personnel from Taiping Town, attended the training.

This training session is closely aligned with the core principles of learning standards, adhering to standards, benchmarking against standards, and achieving compliance. Grounded in the realities of enterprise production and focused on addressing key quality gaps and weaknesses in the industry, it delivers targeted, precision‑driven capacity‑building support. The curriculum centers on the Product Quality Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of the Principal Responsibility for Quality and Safety of Industrial Product Manufacturers (General Administration Order No. 75), the province‑wide requirements of the “Four‑Standards Initiative,” and critical control points throughout the entire process of man-made board production. It systematically covers standard‑compliant procedures across the full lifecycle, including incoming material inspection, process‑control management, finished‑product outgoing inspection, labeling and marking requirements, and the control of key performance indicators. Drawing on recent high‑profile cases of non‑conformity identified in supervisory sampling of man-made board products, the training dissects common issues encountered by enterprises in standard implementation, record‑keeping, process oversight, and self‑inspection for potential hazards. By clearly illustrating both quality risks and compliance risks, the program further reinforces corporate accountability and strengthens the development ethos of lawful operations and quality‑driven competitiveness.

Addressing the key challenges and uncertainties in enterprises’ day-to-day production and operations, instructors provide on-site Q&A and tailored guidance, helping companies refine their quality management systems, streamline production control processes, and standardize inspection records and ledgers—ensuring that standards and specifications are effectively implemented at the shop floor and in specific roles. Enterprises are encouraged to benchmark against leading industry practices, accelerate equipment upgrades and process improvements, and further enhance workers’ proficiency in standardized operations and refined management. By proactively developing high‑quality products and building their own brands, companies can transition from “compliant production” to “quality‑driven excellence,” thereby laying a solid quality foundation for the industry’s move toward standardization and brand‑building.

Going forward, the County Market Supervision Bureau will continue to take the “Four‑Standard Initiative” as its overarching strategy, routinely providing quality‑assistance services to enterprises, promoting and disseminating standards, and conducting hazard inspections. It will further advance the standardization of industry practices—ensuring that benchmarking is precise, compliance is universal, and standard‑setting is high‑end—thereby driving overall quality improvement and efficiency gains across the industrial chain and fully supporting the high‑quality development of the artificial board industry cluster in Juye County.
