Pinghe Wuzhai Wood Industry Industrial Park Officially Enters Trial Operation Phase

Recently, the Pinghe Wuzhai Wood Industry Industrial Park officially entered the trial-operation phase. Machinery and equipment within the park are being gradually commissioned, staff are systematically carrying out equipment adjustments, and various production materials are neatly stacked, creating a busy yet well-organized preparatory atmosphere. This marks a solid step forward in the development of our county’s wood industry cluster.

On March 27, our reporter visited the Wuzhai Wood Products Industrial Park. Modern, standardized factory buildings are neatly arranged, and inside the production workshops, technical staff in work uniforms are meticulously fine-tuning various pieces of equipment and thoroughly inspecting every operational component to ensure that all machinery is running at peak performance—laying a solid foundation for the official start of production. Within the park, batches of wood raw materials are neatly stacked and systematically sorted, while all preparatory work for trial operations is progressing in an orderly manner, creating a vibrant atmosphere of enthusiasm for getting things done and achieving results.

At present, several enterprises in the park have completed construction of their factory buildings and brought in their equipment, and are now vigorously advancing commissioning and trial operations. We remain committed to providing dedicated, end-to-end support services to expedite the resolution of challenges facing enterprise production commencement, with the goal of enabling these enterprises to commence and reach full production as soon as possible.

According to reports, the Wuzhai Wood Industry Industrial Park covers a total planned area of approximately 500 mu and serves as a key platform for Pinghe County to focus on the building materials and home furnishings industry and extend the wood industry value chain. It is also a flagship project aimed at promoting intensive industrial development. To date, the park has successfully attracted 10 wood-processing enterprises, with a total projected investment of RMB 1 billion. During the trial-operation phase, the focus will be on equipment commissioning and process optimization to ensure comprehensive preparations for full-scale production. As an important link in Pinghe County’s wood industry value chain, the park’s trial operation will not only drive the county’s wood-products processing sector toward large-scale, high-end transformation but also further enhance the wood industry ecosystem. Once fully operational, the park is expected to generate annual tax revenues of RMB 30 million, create more than 500 jobs, and achieve an integrated synergy of economic, social, and ecological benefits.

Next Steps: Our county will continue to optimize the business environment, strengthen support for key resources in the industrial park and provide “nanny-style” services, promptly address all issues arising during the trial operation phase and subsequent full-scale production, accelerate the park’s attainment of full capacity and optimal performance, bolster the high-quality development of the wood-processing industry, and inject strong momentum into the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of the county economy.
