Recently, the Dingwang Wood Products Factory in Xiangzhou County is bustling with activity. Workers are busy and orderly on the production line. With the continuous rise in market demand, the wood products factory's order volume is increasing, showing a strong development trend.

On August 5th, a reporter visited the production workshop of Xiangzhou County Dingwang Wood Products Factory. Machines roared, and workers stood beside them, filling in wood. After being finely processed by the assembly line, the wood is eventually transformed into various kinds of wood product materials. The factory director, Qin Dingxing, is busy inspecting each production stage, checking the effect of the wood after processing by the machine, and communicating with the operating employees. With the increase in orders, his presence on the production line has become commonplace.

As a returned entrepreneur, Qin Dingxing, who started from scratch, pays great attention to product quality control. After conducting extensive market research in the early stages, Qin Dingxing learned that Guangdong, Fujian, and Zhejiang provinces need a large number of wooden materials such as knife handles and spoon handles for tableware production. In October 2020, he registered Xiangzhou County Miaohuang Dingwang Wood Products Factory in Panggu Village, Miaohuang Township, and thus began his journey of returning home to start a business.

“At the beginning, we used Eucalyptus core as raw materials, the quality of the products was not up to par, so we gradually switched to other wood. Now we use rubber wood ，and the market feedback is that the quality of our products is stable, the price is reasonable, and the cost performance is high, so the output has gradually increased. Now the output in the first half of the year is about 8 million, and it is expected to reach about 12 million in the second half of the year.” said Qin Dingxing, the factory director.

The continuous surge in orders has not only brought considerable economic benefits to Xiangzhou County Miaohuang Dingwang Wood Products Factory but has also injected strong impetus into the local economic development and employment. Currently, the factory has more than 30 employees, all of whom are local villagers. With the increasing diversification of wood product types, the factory's development prospects are becoming increasingly broad. In order to meet market demand and further expand production scale, the factory also plans to recruit more employees, providing more job opportunities for the local area and allowing more villagers to board the "express train" of rural revitalization.

“I have been working at this factory for five years. Because it is close to home, the salary is relatively good compared to the outside world, and the factory is developing better and better, so it may get better and better for us.” said employee Luo Haili.

In recent years, Miaohuang Township has innovated its work mechanism, taken multiple measures to increase the strength of talent introduction and support and cultivation, adhered to the overall idea of "grasping characteristics to develop industries and strengthen teams to promote improvement," and focused on cultivating a team of rural revitalization talents who understand agriculture, love rural areas, and love farmers, laying a solid talent foundation for the new era and new rural work.

“Talent is **resource**, and innovation is **driving force**. Miaohuang Township has always insisted on playing the "hometown feeling card" and reciting the "talent introduction mantra," adhering to the simultaneous implementation of "introduction, cultivation, use, and retention," attracting more local talents to return home to start businesses, allowing returned talents to "gather together," and at the same time, cultivating local "local experts" to drive more people to achieve employment at their doorstep.” said Li Zhaoping, member of the Miaohuang Township Party Committee and vice chairman of the People's Congress (concurrently).
