In the production workshop of Lingyun County Dafenglin Decorative Materials Co., Ltd., the advanced continuous flat-press production line from Germany's "Diefenbacher" is operating at high speed. This cutting-edge "industrial giant" daily "devours" approximately 1,500 tons of wood waste and branch materials, transforming them into high-end panels that meet international environmental standards through a highly precise temperature and pressure control system.

"In the past, forest farmers either burned or discarded their branch and twig materials. Now, they can sell them to us for cash," said Zhu Shengguo, Chairman of Lingyun County Dafushan Decorative Materials Co., Ltd. "Green isn't just a slogan—it's the 'lifeline' that ensures our project can achieve sustainable and long-term success."
It is understood that the company has established a green supply chain characterized by "waste as the primary resource, with forestry materials playing a supporting role," where more than 70% of raw materials come from small-diameter timber, thinned wood, and branch residues. With strong financial support from the Guangdong-Guangxi collaboration initiative, the enterprise has introduced a world-leading production line from Germany's Dillinger Group, employing cutting-edge technology to manufacture environmentally friendly, formaldehyde-free板材. This advanced process achieves a comprehensive utilization rate exceeding 99.5%, successfully realizing a win-win outcome of resource recycling and industrial upgrading.
Once considered "waste material" discarded carelessly by forestry farmers, these resources have now become the "golden pivot" driving the county's economic transformation. This transformation is firmly backed by Lingyun County's robust ecological foundation. According to statistics, as of the end of 2024, the county's total forest area exceeded 2.58 million mu, providing a solid green foundation for industrial upgrading.

The successful implementation of high-quality projects also relies heavily on the meticulous and attentive "embroidery-like efforts" in investment promotion services. Lingyun County has established a special investigation mechanism, focusing closely on the development strategy of "two liquors, one oil, and one industrial park," to precisely match wood processing and deep-processing projects. Currently, the park has successfully attracted six enterprises, with an annual production capacity of 120,000 cubic meters of premium raw timber. Eco-friendly Board The production lines for the annual 100,000 cubic meter high-end solid-wood ecological board project and the annual 300,000 cubic meter oriented particleboard project are all operating at full capacity.
"We have invested in a green production line to achieve clean manufacturing throughout the entire process. Not only do our products meet international environmental standards, but this year we have also created employment opportunities for 300 local workers," said Jiao Hailong, Chairman of Guangxi Yaomao Wood Industry Co., Ltd. He added that the project is effectively turning the philosophy of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" into tangible benefits, ensuring that ecological advantages continue to unlock significant economic value.
"We are targeting the new frontier of the green home industry, aiming to transform our ecological advantages into a competitive edge for sustainable development," stated Ran Jinghua, Director of Lingyun County Forestry Bureau, highlighting the deep-rooted logic behind this strategic shift. "The success of this project not only revitalizes the county's forestry 'by-products' but, more importantly, establishes a strong pillar for Lingyun's 'One Tree' initiative. This move is driving a comprehensive upgrade in the forestry sector—from selling raw timber to offering processed wood panels and ultimately expanding into the production of eco-friendly green products—thus turning our lush forests and clear waters into invaluable assets that significantly boost local incomes and improve people's livelihoods."
According to statistics, from January to September 2025, the county's total forestry output value reached 6.0485 billion yuan, representing an impressive year-on-year increase of 81.65%. Today, Lingyun is steadily advancing along the path of industry integration, fostering coordinated development between forestry and modern agriculture, new energy, and advanced materials. With "a single tree" as its guiding metaphor, Lingyun continues to paint a vibrant new picture of rural revitalization, where ecological greenery, industrial vitality, and sustainable development harmoniously converge.
