At Guangxi Xiangzhou Lianggui Paper Industry Co., Ltd., they focused on inquiries regarding bamboo‑and‑wood pulp papermaking capacity, environmental‑protection technologies, and the expansion of downstream markets for packaging and cultural papers. In the showroom of Zhiguang Furniture (Xiangzhou) Co., Ltd., they conducted an on‑site assessment of the progress made in developing an integrated industrial chain for board‑based home furnishings. At Guangxi Lianzhuang Technology Co., Ltd., they delved into the extension of the industrial chain, covering barite mining, beneficiation, purification, and the deep processing of barium salts. In addition, the delegation visited Guangxi Jinxiang Cement Co., Ltd. to learn about the development of supporting industries in the building‑materials sector. At each stop, members of the delegation engaged in in‑depth discussions with company executives, expressing high praise for Xiangzhou County’s well‑developed industrial infrastructure and its favorable business environment.

At the exchange symposium, the delegation heard briefings on the development of Xiangzhou County’s paper industry and attended a special presentation. The delegation noted that the Huayang District Building Materials Industry Association brings together numerous high-quality enterprises in the region, with extensive experience in board production, home‑furnishing manufacturing, and the R&D of new building materials. Xiangzhou County boasts abundant timber and barite resources, and its paper and mining industries have solid foundations—aligning closely with the association’s strategic direction. The delegation expressed hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to establish a long‑term, regular mechanism for collaboration. He emphasized that the Huayang District Building Materials Industry Association’s sectoral resources are highly complementary to Xiangzhou’s industrial positioning, and expressed hope that both sides would concentrate on three key areas—green transformation of the paper industry, upgrading and efficiency enhancement in the timber sector, and extending the barite‑based industrial chain—expediting the refinement of a list of cooperation initiatives to ensure the early implementation of projects. Mr. Tang further instructed the County Investment Promotion Bureau, the County Bureau of Economy and Trade, the County Federation of Industry and Commerce, and other relevant departments to provide proactive support, offering end-to-end resource guarantees to help association‑affiliated enterprises invest and establish operations in Xiangzhou, thereby effectively translating the comparative advantages of both parties into tangible outcomes in industrial collaboration.

Vice County Magistrate and Chairman of the County Federation of Industry and Commerce, Zeng Ying, along with principal officials from the County Investment Promotion Bureau, the County Economic and Trade Bureau, and the County Federation of Industry and Commerce, as well as heads of relevant enterprises, attended the aforementioned event.
